Prologue: [please note this is not a DIRECT continuation from KHII but has the same sort of beginning] Sora stepped into the portal with Riku and they both made a large splash. The two went afloat to see a familiar island, the same on that they had grown up on. Kairi frm the shore called out to them and the two swam ashore and were greeted by her. Things had been going great since the defeat of the Organization XIII....perhaps too great. Donald and Goofy celebrated as they all reunited as well. As Donald looked out at the sunset from the shore, a bottle floated from the sea. Sora rushed to go pick it up. A letter was inside and was sealed by the kings seal. Sora read it out loud and then looked up in shock. Donald and Goofy look terrified after the two had heard Sora's words. The celebrtion had ended too soon, another adventure and journey awaited the keybladers, and this one would quite possibly be tougher than the last. New foes would linger in the darkness and attempt to stop the keybladers but their countless attempts before never brought them down but they might this time.

Chapter 1. A new beginning

"Gawrsh Donald, the king needs our help and fast!" said Goofy in his ridiculously annoying accent. Riku turned his head to the side away from the three adventurers and towards Kairi....
"I knew it was too good to be true" he thought as he felt disappointed. Kairi walked up to Riku silently and tried to get his attention but failed as Riku began to walk away. Sora stood up from the distance and brushed off the beach sand off of his clothing. Another adventurer was about to bgen, but how to approach this one was a problem. A voice instantly shot into Sora's head as he was thinking about how to get back to twilight town, "This world has been connected" rang the familiair voice through Sora's head. He knew that the door that was there last time was how they were going to get back but he was troubled, last time they approached getting to different worlds this way, destiny islands was almost entirely destroyed. "Hey guys you ready!?" yelled Sora to Riku, Kairi, Donald, and Goofy. Riku turned around determined and nodded his head as the others did the same. The five quickly dashed from the seaside shack to the small opening where memories were recorded on the walls. Sora looked at the giant door and gasped his hands on the handles. He gulped quickly and began to pull as a bright light shone from within the crease of the two opening walls. The 5 looked into the portal that showed the familiar mansion of twilight town. They each looked back at each other determined and walked into the portal. A loud slam was made as the five had each landed near the same spot simultaneously. As the five stood up and brushed themselves off they each looked up in shock. Twilight town was destroyed.....

Sorry for such a short chapter, the prologue wore me out

2. Twilight Trouble

"Wh-What happen to this place?" asked Sora curiously looking around at the desecrated buildings.
"It seems as if someone or something wanted to have a little fun" replied Riku as he drew his keyblade and began to head to the mansion. Sora and the others trailed behind Riku until he abruptedly stopped and gazed at the creatures in front of him.
"Those aren't heartless or nobodies, then what are they?" questioned Sora as he drew out ultima weapon and Donald and Goofy and Kairi pulled out their weapons as well. The unknown creatures in front of the keybladers snarled at them and then quickly leaped at them with their claws pulled back. Sora made no hesitation to fight back and jumped up in the air after the unknown creature that was lunging after him. Three quick slashes were placed on the unknown creature's chest and it then disappeared into thin air. Riku jumped back and preformed strike raid taking out the other two unknown creatures. Sora looked around to make sure there was no more left.
"What....what were those things, why is twilight town destroyed, what is going on?" questioned Riku to himself as he headed up the mansion steps and opened the door. Kairi quickly pointed to a kid laying on the floor with a bunch of nobodies surrounding him. Sora nodded and ran after them with Goofy and Donald next to him. Sora quickly lifted his ultima weapon and pointed it up as Donald and Goofy helped him preform his trinity attack. A large explosion overcame the nobodies and dispersed of them all. The kid slowly began to stand up and then looked at Sora......"Thank you" he said as his body slowly began to disappear. Sora reached out at his slowly disappearing body and tried to grab ahold of him but was only grasping thin air. Riku shook his head to the side curiously trying to comprehend what was going on. He then began to walk up the steps feeling troubled. His gut had a bad feeling about everything in twilight town.
"Hey Riku! Wait up" yelled Kairi as she began to run up the steps with sora and the others. The steps finally ended and Riku headed to the right.
"If I'm correct, we should be able to warp back to hollow bastion with the portal in here" replied Riku opening the door and heading in. Sora and the others looked around and saw the portal leading to hollow bastion. Sora walked up to the portal and began to take his first step in.
"Heh...I have one foot in hollow bastion" he said as he began to laugh
"C'mon Sora, quit clowning around" sneered Riku as he stepped in the portal and awaited the others to do the same. Everyone then went in one at a time and they reached hollow bastion and were relieved to see everything was still in one piece. They were quickly greeted by friendly faces and people they had never even seen before.
"Hurry, we gotta find Leon and the others and find out what's going on!" said Sora as he began to run across the blue pavement of hollow bastion. As they reached the front door of Merlin's, they were greeted by a large group of heartless. Sora reacted quicky and slashed a shadow twice leaving it in the dust. Riku jumped to the side of a large body and began to hack and slash at it with his soul eater until it exploded. Kairi saw 4 neoshadows swarming at her quickly, she grasped her oathkeeper's handle and smashed it on the ground sending a large wave of energy dispersing the neoshadows quickly.
"That should be all of them" said Riku as he turned the knob of Merlin's door to the side and opened the door and walked in. Merlin didn't notice that the keybladers entered and continued practicing spells on his furniture.
"Uh....Merlin, we need your help" spoke Goofy. Merlin quickly stopped his magic arts and turned around and greeted each one of them.
"Thank goodness its you! You came here at the best time ever." replied Merlin quickly before Sora could explain why they were here. Sora waited patiently for Merlin to stop his talking but Merlin didn't. His voice rambled on about how grateful he was that they were in hollow bastion.
"Merlin, we came here for a reason." said Riku quietly waiting for the old wizard to stop with his continuous sentences.
"What would that reason be?" questioned Merlin
"Twilight Town.....is dead." answered Sora as he watched Merlin's mouth drop. Utter silence surrounded everyone in Merlin's house.

I'm sorry this one was short too but I didn't feel like typing too much for chapter 2 anyways, chapter 3 will be about twice as long
