Prologue:
"We’re not going to make it!" yelled Tsuro as the gate in front of them was barely opened. The alarms began to grow louder as the gate was almost shut. Time was running out to escape... "We have to. If we don’t, everything we have worked for will equal to nothing!" Replied Azuro as his ship's left wing burned out and he began to lose control. The Central gate had only a little space, only enough for one ship to fit through. A large explosion happened as Azuro passed through the gate. He looked back at the closed gate to see no one else with him. He looked at his broken ship then looked at the door and began to feel sadness for his lost brother. "Now is not the time for sorrow, I will avenge his death later." thought Azuro to himself as he began to run down the elongated pathway. The path seemed endless and the door was not drawing near as it was supposed to. “Why am I not getting anywhere?” yelled Azuro in his head as his legs began to tire with the heavily coated armor on them. He stopped and glanced around the room. “Am at the same spot I began?” questioned Azuro under his panting breath. He looked around for some sort of explanation and saw an alien type creature slither up a wall. “There is my answer, a stupid little alien that was using illusions to trick me into running down a never ending path.” answered Azuro after he spotted the Nexon. Azuro then charged after the creature and pulled out his saber. “Hyaaaaaaaah” yelled Azuro as he soared upwards and sliced the defenseless creature apart. Green ooze poured down the Nexon’s stomach. “5 MINUTES UNTIL SELF-DESTRUCT!!!!” shouted the massive machine Azuro was escaping from. “I’ll never make in time at the pace I’m going!” thought Azuro as he began to sprint to the nearest door. He kept his pace up as his heart thudded through his helmet and into his ears. He could hear his heart’s pace speed up as he arrived at the door. The door shifted open and revealed 3 more alien like creatures. Azuro launched his body after the two standing next to each other and sliced through both simultaneously. More green oozed to the floor, as the two alien’s held onto their wounds and flailed around. “I’ll make sure all of you die! Even if it means my own life at stake, none of you will escape to Earth!” yelled Tsuro as he hacked and slashed at the aliens. He dispatched of the aliens quickly and gasped as he exited the room. “1 MINUTE UNTIL SELF-DESTRUCT!!!!” shouted the massive machine again. “Where is the stupid exit at!?” screamed Azuro as time was expiring against him. He didn’t lose his grip though and kept searching. The countdown for the self-destruct initiated right when Azuro and Tsuro destroyed the King of the alien vessel. Azuro was too drained to run any longer and began to walk as he approached another door. “30 Seconds until self-destruct.” said the vessel softly. Azuro then stood in front of the door to see a bright light appear. He slowly walked out of the door to see the exit just a few steps away and began a dead sprint to the door. “10 Seconds until self-destruct.” said the vessel softly again. Azuro made it to the door but was too exhausted to continue and collapsed against the wall. “No way! I can’t lose now, not now!” motivated Azuro to himself in his thoughts. Azuro opened the door and freefell down to his ship as chunks of metal slammed into his body. The explosion was massive but he managed to escape and return to Earth. But that was just the first vessel, the second one was moving to Earth already.

Yea heres chapter one:
Chapter 1 the Funeral
Azuro’s ship arrived to Earth’s docking port about an hour later. He exited his ship and reported to the lab. “The trip was a success.” commented Azuro as he entered the room. The entire laboratory celebrated with happiness. Everyone stood up and began to cheer until Azuro finished his sentences. “Although we are a Hunter short…” replied Azuro to everyone’s celebration “You mean, Tsuro didn’t make it, he was a class A Hunter.” gasped a scientist. “He almost did but, the door shut before he could escape and he was then caught in the explosion, I have no clue where his remains are but they are somewhere in space floating around. However, we did exterminate the vessel which means, there is no threat currently for Earth.” answered Azuro to the scientist’s gasp. “Well shouldn’t we commemorate him with a funeral or something even without his dead body” said Professor Kanyu as he sat down in his lab chair “That’s kind of what I was thinking but I was also thinking since he was our best class A Hunter that we could give him an award of some sort” replied Azuro “I completely agree with your statement.” answered Professor Kanyu. “I’m glad that you see things the way I do” murmured Azuro as he exited the lab and headed for his guild’s room. There was going to be a lot of space now that one of his guild member’s lives was dispersed of. Tsuro was a great hunter, a great friend, but and even greater brother. He always helped his brother Azuro hoping to teach him the basics of being a Hunter and allowing his brother to be on the same team as him. He may have been 3 years older than his brother, but he still treated him as if they were the same age. Now he was gone though, just another memory stuck in Azuro’s mind. “I…will avenge him someday.” thought Azuro to himself as the door in front of him opened and the other Class A Hunters greeted him kindly. “So how did the mission go newbie?” questioned one of Azuro’s teammates? “It um…went well I guess.” Answered Azuro briefly as he tossed his hunting armor and equipment to the floor, “Where’s your older bro at?” questioned his teammate. “He is um…not coming back.” answered Azuro as he began to pack his brother’s stuff. “Did he retire from hunting already!?” “No, I mean he is not coming back to our world ever.” answered Azuro as tears slithered down his cheek and onto his brother’s saber. “You mean…he…you know…died?” “Yup, he is not in our existence anymore, what is the purpose of being a hunter? Why are we risking our lives everyday on stupid missions to protect this planet? What is so great about it?” bellowed Azuro as he put his brother’s stuff in the corner of the room “For the youngest class A hunter ever, you certainly ask a lot of dumb questions. We do it to protect this entire planet, we do it for pride, we do it for honor, not everyone has the guts to stand in front of a ten foot monster and charge through it defenseless.” yelled his teammate as he stood up. “Plus if you were a real Hunter, you would want to defend your brother’s pride by doing even better than what you have now.” Azuro lifted up his saber and glared at his teammate evilly. “C’mon Azuro, kill me, if you have the guts to, after all you and your brother are both lousy hunters.” taunted his teammate attempting to make Azuro mad. “You take that back or I’ll…..I’ll kill you!” yelled Azuro raising his saber to his teammate’s throat. Azuro stood motionless glaring through his teammate’s eyes. “That’s more like it, the same attitude as your brother. If you harbor all this anger this way, why don’t you unleash it on the battlefield?” said his teammate smirking. Azuro lowered his saber and threw it to the ground. He then apologized for his threat and left his guild room. He headed for the HQ main exit as he was stopped by professor Kanyu. “Azuro, come with Me.” said the professor quietly trying not to disturb anyone else. Azuro remained speechless and trailed behind the professor. “I engraved an award for you brother, I would like you to present it in the funeral we are having tomorrow for him. I would also like to ensure that your brother would be proud of you.” stated the professor entering his office and picking up the engraved scrap of metal that had his brother’s name on it. “Well since the mission was a success, I suggest we throw an after-party.” replied Azuro lifting the award out of professor Kanyu’s hands. “If that is okay with you even with your brother’s funeral the same day then I’ll accept it” agreed professor Kanyu. “There is nothing else I can do about my brother’s death except avenge it someday.” replied Azuro clenching his fists. Azuro carried the award in his right hand as he exited the room. He neared his guild room when he was confronted by his brother’s favorite teammate. “Is he really gone?” whimpered Tsuro’s best friend, Rick. “Yeah, it is a disappointment but the only thing we can do for him is in the future.” answered Azuro peacefully as he stopped in his tracks. “I understand what you mean; it just doesn’t feel normal without him though.” replied Rick as he began turning the other way. Azuro nodded and walked into his guild room. His other teammates didn’t greet him this time knowing he was upset but simply sent him a waving gesture. “Well tomorrow is my brother’s funeral. Are you guys going to be there?” asked Azuro as he laid his brother’s award down onto his desk. “Of course, why wouldn’t we be there to cheer one of the best hunters ever?” answered Azuro’s teammate Zane. “I don’t know, I guess I was curious of what you guy’s thought about him. It kind of doesn’t matter anymore though. As well as his funeral, are you guys able to attend the after-party as well?” questioned Azuro looking puzzled. “I don’t see why we wouldn’t be able to.” stated Zane as he stood up and walked near Tsuro’s award and trophy collection. Azuro was examining the awards as well. It was awkward for Azuro to be commemorating a successful mission without his brother. He began to think back at all the memories he had with his brother. After gazing at his brother’s collection he lay down on his bed and just began to flashback to the greatest times of his life. “Are you going to be okay?” asked Zane beginning to leave the room. “Yeah, I’ll be fine.” answered Azuro as he closed his eyes. He continued to think of his older times until he finally drowsed himself to sleep. Azuro slept for hours on end until a buzzing alarm woke him up. He was back in his old guild room 7 years ago with his brother. “Azuro come on, we got to go now!” alerted Tsuro. “Where are we going?” asked Azuro. “Forget about that, grab your saber, get your armor on and let’s go.” answered Tsuro tossing his brother’s equipment at him. Azuro swiftly slipped on his equipment and grabbed his saber and exited the room, trailing behind his brother. They both ran to the entrance/exit of their former HQ before they excelled out of their low class rank. “The launching sequence will begin in about two minutes, we probably won’t make it back here.” said Tsuro with a determined look in his eye. “What do you mean; “We probably won’t make it back here?” questioned Azuro running to their spacecraft. “I mean as in we might not come back alive.” answered Tsuro rushing to the spacecraft with his brother. They both entered the spacecraft and instantaneously they were docked on an alien vessel. They both looked around when a giant alien came crashing through the wall to their left. It ran at high speed and snatched Tsuro. Tsuro cried in pain for help but Azuro was suffering a bad fate as well. Azuro was also attacked by an unknown enemy below the surface. Azuro struggles to get free but instead of getting free he watched his brother get injected with the alien’s poisonous venom. Azuro screamed for help but his telecommunication watch was refusing to work. His brother fell down to the ground in severe pain. Azuro tried to break the alien’s grip on himself but was unable and sat and watch as aliens feasted on his remains. “NO!” yelled Azuro loudly as he awoke from his nightmare. Sweat rolled down the side of his cheeks. He could feel his pulse in his head as it throbbed. Azuro looked around him and noticed how nightfall already hit. He stood up and exited his guild room. He approached the bathroom door and turned on the water faucet. Cold water splashed into his face from his palms as he attempted to awake himself fully. After splashing water into his face he turned off the faucet and dried his face up with a hand towel. Zane entered the bathroom cautiously after being alerted by Azuro’s scream. “Azuro, are you okay?” asked Zane leaning against the bathroom door. “Yeah, I’m fine, just a nightmare, that’s all.” answered Azuro as he wiped his forehead. “Well, maybe the bathroom isn’t the best place to socialize so let’s go to the lounge.” replied Zane exiting the room. Azuro followed Zane to the lounge as they communicated along the way. They entered the lounge and both sat on separate lounge chairs. “Sorry Zane, I didn’t mean to disturb anyone on the night before a party and funeral.” murmured Azuro quietly feeling disappointed. “It wasn’t your fault, you can’t suppress your dreams or feelings for your brother.” said Zane as he turned on a dim light in the room. Azuro nodded in agreement as he suggested trying to go back to sleep and rest up before the big day. They both headed to the guild room and lay back down. Azuro tried to shake off his nightmare and dozed back to sleep. The nightmare reoccurred in a different form. His brother still suffered a terrible, horrifying death in Azuro’s dream though. His nightmare’s continued on until the sun rose. Azuro awoke at the sound of Zane’s thunderous voice. “Zane, wh-what time is it?” stuttered Azuro as he began to stretch himself out. Zane looked outside of the guild room and into the lounge and returned to answer Azuro’s question. “8:14 AM.” answered Zane as he began to walk out of the room. “Ugh...what a rough night.” thought Azuro as he began to slip on some formal clothing. Azuro flicked off the switch of the guild room as he exited and headed for his brother’s funeral room, known properly as, the library, a place where anything is possible. Azuro entered the matter transmitter and was warped into the library from the lounge. He glanced around and noticed many unfamiliar faces and very few familiar ones. “Did all of these people have some sort of relation to Tsuro?” thought Azuro in his head, as he noticed at least 60 people when the funeral didn’t start until 11:00 AM. Chatter went on and Azuro headed past the crowd until he noticed Zane resting on a recliner reading a book. “Hey Zane, what’s up?” said Azuro as he finally cut through the crowd. “Nothing much, just reading a book about hunting.” answered Zane as he flipped the page. “You know, at this rate, you could not only be the youngest class A hunter, but the youngest class S hunter as well.” “Yeah, but, I like being a class A hunter, I wouldn’t want to leave this entire organization for advanced placement” stated Azuro thoughtfully. “What’s so great about being a class S hunter anyways?” “Well there are plenty of reasons. The common one is that everyone looks up to you and you are notified as one of the best hunters to live. You get better equipment, higher ranking missions, and your own personal bedroom, as well as all of your rankings recorded and put into a book of the greatest hunters.” answered Zane turning another page in his book. “Well my brother wasn’t a class S hunter and he is in one of the greatest hunter books.” commented Azuro. “Yes, but your brother had the same chance that you might have to advance but he turned down the offer to be with his friends, Rick, and professor Kanyu.” replied Zane eyeing his page. “Oh, I see what you mean.” responded Azuro as he began to walk away from Zane. “Well your brother’s funeral is in a few hours, so you might want to get your speech, and your brother’s award ready.” acknowledged Zane flipping to the back of the book so he could look at the Hunting Hall of Fame section. Azuro nodded and exited the library. He felt as if something was troubling Zane. He was curious of what it might be, and began to think of what could it be as he entered his guild room. He grabbed the award and his speech that he wrote down and quickly exited the room and went back to the library. He glanced around the area Zane was last at to see, no Zane. All that was there was the book Zane was reading and a marked page. Azuro picked up the book carefully and eyed the page that Zane was on. There were accurate and some real pictures of the most famous hunters ever. Azuro read through all of them until he came across the last picture. He studied the picture carefully seeing the familiar face. He questioned to himself about who it looked like until he saw the similarity. “No way, this guy looks just like Zane.” said Azuro widening his eyes reading about the famous hunter, Enaz. Azuro dropped the book and began to search rapidly around the HQ for Zane. He felt like he searched the entire HQ before he finally collapsed from exhaustion. “Where did he go?” murmured Azuro to himself as he began to rest on one of the lounge chairs. “How could someone disappear so fast?” Azuro finally got up from his resting place and began to search before stumbling upon professor Kanyu. “Professor, have you seen Zane recently?” panted Azuro with his hands on the back of his head. “Last time I saw him was in the library, you should go there with me, it is almost time for your brother’s funeral.” replied professor Kanyu as he began to walk to the transmitter. Azuro followed professor Kanyu until they entered the library. He shot a look at the clock, 10:53 AM. “10:53 AM already!?” gasped Azuro rushing for his speech cards and his brother award. He went to the spot where Zane and him met up at and searched for them. He began to sweat and panic as he searched around the area of his stuff. He couldn’t find them anywhere. Sweat rolled down his cheek as a face of despair was made. He looked up and then looked down. He then turned around and saw them lying on a book shelf. He gasped and then walked over to his items and began to carry them to the podium where he was to give his speech. 11:00 AM finally struck and the funeral began to start. As the lights were dimmed, spotlights began to shine on Azuro. Azuro stood up behind the podium and glanced around looking for Zane. Zane appeared to be nowhere but Azuro couldn’t spend anymore time looking for him. He began to give his long, thoughtful, mind-boggling, compassionate speech. It finally ended 14 minutes later and that is when Azuro resented the award. “This award goes to the best class A hunter, and best brother ever.” stated Azuro as he applauded. Everyone began to clap there hands and stomp their feet as Azuro presented it. After the announcing of the award, the empty coffin was shut and carried outside for burial. The after-party then began after the undertakers exited the building. Instead of celebrating, Azuro bolted out of the room and rushed for Zane’s presence. He sprinted to his guild room to see Zane resting on his bed. “Zane where were you at?” questioned Azuro softly “Urgent matters appeared.” answered Zane in an even calmer voice. “Is it about Enaz, the guy that looks like you?” asked Azuro as he sat next to Zane “Yes but, we have never met before, and it says he was born just a few years before me and that his death was of mystery.” replied Zane as he opened up his eyes. “Do you think he might be related to the guy?” questioned Azuro in curiosity. “I don’t know, if I was I should know about it and his operator code is completely different from my family and mine.” stated Zane beginning to sit up. “It has to be just sheer coincidence.” replied Zane to his previous comment. Azuro understood why Zane missed the funeral but now it was time for them to attend the after party. Zane and Azuro rushed to the transmitter and warped to where the party was being held at, a place known as, the party room. You could tell it was amazing by the sign on the wall: P@RtY R0oM. Azuro and Zane stood motionless sharing thoughts about the hunter Enaz and Tsuro until a red alarm went off.
