Vincent had no problem. If it was a large beast, it was most likely to be limited to close-combat attacks. Vincent shot at the Cyclops, firing off a barrage, specifically aimed at its eye.

The cyclops shuttered and fell down from the shot and the slash dead.
Sephiroth continued on to reveal a staircase going upwards.

Tidus continued down and noticed something weird, no matter how many steps they took the door did not get any closer. He began to run but to no avail. "Guys! Its a trick!" He said running full speed at the door.

Sephiroth looked at the wall full of mirrors. He then realized it was an illusion with trick mirrors and a reverse ground trick. G"uys walk the other direction" said Sephiroth turning around makingm progress
